  Our gift shop features a selection of publications
  about Coryell County, including:

  NEW! "Plowing a Crooked Row" - A heartwarming novel
  about love, tragedy, and triumph. Written by Brenda Shirley,
  a native of Gatesville, Texas. Paperback: $14.95;
  hardcover: $24.95.

  NEW! "If You Blink You'll Miss It" and "Rope Burns and
  Lead Poisoning"
by Mike Barr. Interesting history about
  Gatesville and Coryell County. Paperback: $12.95.

  NEW! "A Thistle in the Wind" by James Wilson Brazzil,
  a native of Coryell County. $17.95.

  "Families of Coryell County" published by the museum in 2004.

  "Down Memory Lane"with Uncle Bob Sanders - exerpts from articles written in the Gatesville
   Messenger of the good old days in Gatesville and Coryell County;

  "Coryell County Scrapbook" by Mildred Watkins Mears - a history of Coryell County.

  The gift shop also features a wide variety of unique gifts.

Spur Capitol items include dominoes, mugs, t-shirts and more. Postcards of the county courthouse, spurs, and Coryell County scenery, as well as western items - spurs, hats, cowboy and horse figurines are also available in the gift shop.

Posters available include:
"Looking for Texas" by Rick Vanderpool;
"Texas Wildflowers"
"Starring Texas" includes the "Star" in our own courthouse rotunda;
"The Spur" - photos of spurs done here in Gatesville; and
"Who Has Seen the Wind" - all about windmills.
There is also a poster of the 1884 Map of Gatesville which was hand drawn.

All sales benefit the Coryell Museum and Historical Center.
